Rise of the Steampunk Robots : Fantasy Tower Defense

Rise of the Steampunk Robots was developed during my time at university and was created for an assessment for Game Programing Fundamentals. I worked along side of two other members Xuan Liu & Ricky Hamilton to design, develop, and polish a game in twelve weeks.
My Role within this team was to engineer the entire game together and add in all the functionality, SFX, and VFX into the game. Within these twelve weeks that I worked upon this project I had created the UI system, including placing towers down and currency. I had also developed the actual tower system and created the targeting system to target the enemy ai I had implemented.
During the first 4 weeks of the project it was all about project management and how to design and develop our project while sticking to a timeline. I learnt how to use Hack n Plan to organize my jobs and the jobs of the other team members, and the duration we need for each of the tasks. Hack n Plan was a huge help in keeping me organized and allowing me to work over the multiple weeks with the others and discover bugs and errors and communicate well with each other.
